Talented Services
-
The talented program seeks to screen, identify, and provide services for children who possess unique talent in the visual or performing arts.
The level and type of talented services are determined at the IEP in accordance with the student’s needs and evaluation results.
Characteristics of talented children commonly include an ability to express feelings, thoughts and moods easily through art. They typically exhibit creativity and imagination. They are usually observant and are flexible.
