We were honored to attend the BHS Black History Program today!!! We are in awe of our many talented students. Thank you, Mr. Chad Harry and Mr. Bobby Showers, for all the hard work you put in with these amazing students. Special appreciation goes to the senior officers of the BHS Student Council and Principal Saudah Blackman-Stokes for making this important event possible.

Today 6th grade math students in Mrs. Amy Fleming's class used pattern blocks to explore shapes, patterns, and symmetry as an introduction to geometry. The blocks helped students generate patterns that they will use to create their own mandalas that use repetitive geometric patterns.

We are so appreciative of our school counselors, Mrs. Sherry Burton and Mrs. Tanya Moses!!!! These ladies work hard daily to ensure our students' overall well-being and success. They work closely with students to address academic, career, and social-emotional needs, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their goals. We would be lost without you, ladies!!🖤💛🖤💛

Due to not selling enough prepaid tickets, both middle school Mardi Gras Ball and Personality Ball had to be cancelled. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Our talented students showcased their art pieces at the City of Bogalusa Black History Showcase inside Bogalusa City Hall. These students were able to explain their inspirations and the history behind their pieces. Congratulations to all of these talented artists and their teachers, Mrs. Tania Thompson (grades 6-8) and Mrs. Deanna Keating(grades 9-12)!
