Our Class of 2024 participated in a financial seminar today presented by Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans and Capitol One Bank. This workshop helped them
were grouped with trained mentors who led them through budgeting, building a credit score, among other topics.











All BHS juniors attended the second of two ACT Boot Camps held this year. Students learned pacing and time management, test taking and guessing strategies, and tips for the most important question types. We wish these scholars well on their upcoming ACT test!!

We continue our Black History Month celebration! Mrs. Sybil O'Ree's middle school scholars learned about the history and achievements of many African Americans and created a wall of honor to showcase them.



Congratulations to our 2024 District Literary Rally participants! These scholars were selected by their teachers to participate in this academic competition. We are SO proud that BHS had several students place at the district level and will move on to the state competition!!











The BHS Raider members assisted in the clean-up of Cassidy Park for their upcoming State Raider Competition.
Cadets also ran thru a few obstacles in preparation for the event. They enjoyed pizza for the close out session.


Congratulations to our senior BHS Cheer Team members!! They received their letter jackets in a ceremony attended by loved ones, faculty, and their cheer coach, Mrs. Katasha August-Robinson. These young ladies have shown up and dedicated countless hours to their team and school. Their unwavering school spirit is so appreciated!!!!!🖤💛📣📣
