Thursday night from 5:30-7:30, Byrd Avenue Primary will be hosting a McTeacher Night at McDonald's of Bogalusa. We invite you all to attend! We will have a costume contest for the students and have a singing performance!

Picture Day is tommorow, Tuesday, October 21st! Students are to wear their school uniforms for the pictures.

This is a reminder that we are out for the WPFF next week, October 13-16. There will be no Friday tutoring tomorrow, October 10th, or October 17th.

Today, we celebrate our very own Instructional Coach, Ms. Danisha Manning! Many schools, including Byrd Avenue, use this day to recognize instructional coaches for their contributions, including:
-Supporting teachers with professional development, lesson planning, and data analysis.
-Working to improve educational quality and student success.
-Fostering a positive, collaborative, and supportive school culture.

On October 30th, we will have our quarterly Positive Behavior Intervention & Support Event, Trunk or Treat.
We are asking that anyone who would like to donate a bag of candy or two bring them to the school. If you are an organization or a church and would like to participate in the Truck or Treat event, please contact the school. We'd love to have you!
