Let's get your senior year kicked off, BHS Class of 2025! It is time to make your senior picture appointment. See details below:

On Tuesday, nine of our young men from BHS attended the Black Male Summit hosted by the University of Louisiana System. This was Bogalusa’s first time attending, as our Superintendent, Dr. Byron Hurst, wanted to ensure that we had representation from BHS. The students learned about the importance of ACT, maintaining above-average grades, professionalism, FASFA, and many other new laws that will ultimately affect young men all over the nation. The students spent the day, along with Mr. Chad Harry and Coach Eddie Walker, going to college stations and symposiums about accountability and productivity. Our students earned many prizes, and one student, Steven Franklin, was awarded a Scholarship to Louisiana Tech University. We would like to thank Superintendent Hurst for his dedication to pouring into the young scholars in our community. Also, we appreciate the support of Ms. Kewanda August, Mr. Chad Harry, Mrs. Katasha August-Robinson, Ms. Monisha Hawthorne, and Mr. Eddie Walker for their dedication in ensuring this launch of many great experiences for our students.

LEAP tests will be given next week for those high school students that need to retest.
Please see the testing schedule below.
Things to Remember:
•Please arrive by 7:45 AM on your testing day.
•All summer learning students will need to bring their laptop fully charged and ready for testing.
•Those not attending summer learning will be issued a laptop to use for their test.
