BHS Professional Development Day Two
Following an amazing breakfast by our own Ms. Lisa Jackson, faculty and staff participated in trainings on new invaluable programs and engaging curriculum being implemented this school year. We were thankful to be trained by all the experts in their area!! The School Based Health Center staff showcased all they have to offer both students and faculty at BHS. Special thanks to McGinity Law Firm for their amazing dessert and gift bags given to all. We appreciate this school/community partnership! We are doing all it takes to ensure a GOLD MEDAL SCHOOL YEAR!!🖤🏅💛🖤🏅💛

Faculty and staff of BHS participated in day one of professional development as the 2024-25 school year began. From a delicious breakfast and entertainment by our own Lumberjacks to an amazing guest speaker and engaging break-out sessions, it will be surely be a GOLD MEDAL YEAR at BHS!!

BHS was the proud recipient of a generous monetary donation from ADAPT. These funds will be allocated to support our students in various ways. The Lumberjack family is truly grateful for such great community partners. 🖤💛
Our new middle school STAR Academy teachers recently attended a 2 day training in Metairie. Kudos to Mrs. Megan Herndon(math), Mr. Carlos Howard(social studies), and Ms. Rebecca Thomas (STEM) for taking the time to gain knowledge to bring back to our students!

This week at LYS, our scholars from BHS learned the fundamentals of leadership. The focus was on teamwork, communication, and being creative as a group.
Our own Steven Franklin was chosen Most Spirited Delegate.
The students ended their week with a formal dinner as they celebrated the conclusion LYS.
Today was the Bogalusa City School's Service Day. We thank those employees, students, and community members that came out and gave their time to spruce up our campus!!! 🖤💛🖤💛
We welcomed our 9th-12th graders today to Prep Day at BHS. We appreciate those parents and students that attended and look forward to a "Gold Medal Year"!🏅
