8th Grade Promotion Ceremony Reminders:
•if a parent did not make it to the school today, cap/gown may be picked up before 11:00 on Tuesday, May 28, in the BHS Library. Individual Graduation Plans will be signed at that time.
•Students need to arrive at school at 5:40 for the ceremony.
•No decorated caps or stoles
Students in Coach Michael Cummings's Unites States History classes recently completed their final project. They each chose an important era in American history and completed research. The projects included an essay, pictures of the time, and two artifacts symbolizing the era. Great job, scholars!
9-11 Graders Laptop Return 💻
BHS Student Council and the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council traveled to the capital in Baton Rouge yesterday. Senator Beth Mizell and Representative John Wyble greeted them and recognized the students and Bogalusa City Schools on the house floor.

Senior Willasia Pam organized an exciting game of ball with proceeds going both to a local charity and back to the school. The student body enjoyed watching some of their favorite faculty members play against some of our best Lumberjacks!!Kudos to Willasia for all she did to make this great event happen! She wants to extend her thanks to Coach Aubrey Watson, Coach Ken Matthews, and Ms. Precious Anderson for their help.
