Bogalusa High School Track Booster Club
We are asking all former track athletes, parents, coaches, business leaders, teachers, bus drivers, friends, city workers, citizens and well-wishers of BHS Track to come out and get involved in something great! Let's try to save some of our youth.

Thursday, February, 8th ,at 6:00 pm, inside Bogalusa High School Football Fieldhouse, adjacent to the Gary C. Magee Track Complex.
Meeting #2
Thursday, February, 15th ,at 6:00 pm., same location.
We will hand out plans for the ‘24 track season at BHS, including the city and the parish. We need your advice, your input and your support in our endeavor. We have several meets scheduled in Bogalusa at the BHS Track Stadium: 3/7/24, 3/21/24, and 4/11/24. We will need your help to run these meets! Finally, I would like to see us organize a Washington Parish Track and Field Youth League. Contact me any time; my contact information is below.

In consideration of the Mardi Gras break, BMS/BHS Honors Program will be tomorrow, February 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Hopefully the change in time will afford more of our parents and students an opportunity to celebrate the academic success of our scholars in the J.L. Bickham Auditorium.

✨ Celebrating Black History Month! 🌟
A. Z. Young (October 31, 1921 – December 1, 1993) was an African-American civil rights and organized labor activist. In 1972, he became the first black to head a state agency in Louisiana. Young was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Young founded and directed the Bogalusa Voters League, which, on August 19, 1967, led a massive march from Bogalusa to Baton Rouge, a distance of ninety-five miles, and culminated in an emotional rally on the steps of the state capitol.
Mrs. Debra Williams's algebra I honor students taught statistics to their peers. Great job, math scholars!!
