Our B Team Raiders showcased their improvements this year by earning 5th place overall. They placed 4th place in the One-Rope Bridge and the Gauntlet and 5th in Physical Team Test.
The Ultimate Tandem Team Raiders (Tyler Williams and Destinee Penn) earned 1st Place Overall Louisiana Ultimate Raider Champions, making them the first BHS Ultimate Raider Champions for Louisiana.

Let's Geaux, JROTC Raiders!!!!!

What a time we had at our annual PBIS Trunk or Treat! Students with no discipline referrals for October enjoyed the afternoon eating yummy snacks, tasting sweet treats, playing fun games, and collecting CANDY!!!! We are so proud of these students for following the school's expectations. 👻🎃

Today at their monthly meeting, 4H members made butter from heavy whipping cream by shaking it for 8-10 minutes in small containers. The milk used came from a Washington Parish dairy farm. The students loved this activity!

Big Bad Lumberjack Marching Band Member of the Week Jayla Wilson is a 5th grade student at Central Elementary School. Jayla joined the Big Bad Lumberjack Marching Band this year and has a passion for playing the snare drum. This past month has been very challenging for Jayla with being hospitalized at St Tammany Hospital in the Pediatric ICU for a week with pneumonia, fevers that spiked as high as 105, and extreme pain from swollen lymph nodes in her abdomen. Having faith in God, Jayla pushed to get better so that she could get back to band practice with her fellow drum line and band family. Jayla is a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. In her spare time, she helps to assist in the care of both of her grandparents, Reverend Curtis and Evelyn Moss. Please help us congratulate Jayla!

Last day of Raider Nationals and completion of the award ceremony;our BHS Raiders conquered the Thunderbolt Tower (a 90 foot rappel tower). The Raiders will earn the Rappel Arc for their Army Service Uniform.
We also traveled to Houston Bowling Center to get their game on.
What a great conclusion for our BHS Raiders!!!

Help us celebrate Red Ribbon Week at BHS!🔴🔴🔴
